Hey all,

I Just bought a 2005 gp gt. I am thinking about putting an exhaust system in. What is something that will give it a nice sound. Something that is not too loud, but gives a nice growl. Thanks.

A lot of people run magnaflow. An aftermarket downpipe will make it a bit louder.

I took mine to an exhaust shop and had them convert single exit exhaust with one muffler to a dual exit dual mufler setup. It just Y's off under the passenger seat, not true duals or anything or course. I have 16 inch aftermarket resonator, 2.5" aftermarket downpipe, going into 2 Force mufflers and dual-dual tips. Altogether spent around $200 and it sounds great throughout RPM range, NO rasp believe it or not. Kinda drones a lil on the interstate but i like to hear my exhaust anyway  I guess i went the long route and coulda just purchased a catback exhaust system, but probably still woulda spent more money and even after installing it there were no guarantess that I would like the sound

Did you get it done with mandrel bent piping nitemare, or just normal piping? Considering just throwing a system together myself, which is another route you could take.
