So it's been a long time since I've done any performance mods and so I decided to purchased some 1.95 rockers and springs.. the install of the springs was sorts of expensive and so I just decided to get ported heads from zzp and install the while thing myself. The ported heads are still in "order in process" status and I'm currently finishing up a summer math class to finally get my AA degree :mrgreen:. I'm looking around for the toque specs and bolt patterns for the heads and all the other stuff I need to remove. I was hoping if anyone had this on hand already. CGP's search feature doesn't exactly like to work for me very good and I'm still looking around the net.

I'm shooting for at least 200whp or a little more.

next mods will be a built tranny with 3500 stall then the turbo will finally going in shortly after :P

1.95 is for supercharged not na?1.84 is highest for na.....what size springs and which turbo are you planning to get????

It is not that you can not run the 1.95 but I don't know how much gain over a ER (split ratio) rocker.

day 2 progress- working since 7am and taking a rest until 1pm to avoid the hottest part of the day. God I've been sweating a lot!

The wire harness had been moved out of the way finally and I'm working on removing the rear header, but it's still clamped good to the cross-over even though I removed the clamp.

Believe me, it has taken some time for me to feel confident enough to do this. But after working on my suspension and audio upgrades, this project is just another big project to tackle. All I need to something to time me how to do it and thats it (GM service manual and some little help from ZZP). The last time I worked my engine was then I put in the HV3 and that was maybe year or a year 1/2 ago, and I've been getting a little bored performance wise. I've been due for a while for performance upgrades.

I think in December instead of putting in the tranny I'm just going to get a paint job and install all the SE stuff I have-
my car should look pretty bad @ss. :mrgreen: I'm painting the hood too. The vent areas will be gold and the rest of the scopes will be black.

yeah when I was gonna do the rockers with valve springs I was gonna do the heads too but then I was like kcuf it....I'll just do 1.8 rockers and call it a day. I'll put the car at a power level that is enjoyable and get a motorcycle

Good progress so far, take your time, it all makes sense how it comes apart. Your gonna make some sick power with the turbo.

bla.. too late I already have both ported heads on the block, sorry man. Right now I'm just cleaning things up and bolting things together. I'm also redoing my color scheme in the engine bay to silver and black with little red in there too. I'll post picture later today :)

oh and the cylinder heads were really dirty before I scrubbed them down a little, I even saw numbers on them too.
