You'd need a tuner or aftermarket PCM. There are several parameters that need to be changed as shown in the image below. I highlighted them in red. That being said, there are reasons your car is limited, first, there is no reason to go that fast on public streets and second, the limiter is based off of your tire speed rating. Also, unless you're highly modified, which I'm sure you are not based on your question, your car will not get anywhere near your limiter at a dragstrip.

^^2x. The only way to do it is get a tuner, find someone with one, or buy a box tuned PCM. And as Blackwood said, there's really no need to remove either limiters. And if you don't have an upgraded valvetrain and over rev the engine, you're going to break something, not to mention, not make any power up that high anyway.

What GT? Not a Grand Prix GT. A stock Grand Prix GT only does ~85-86 mph in the 1/4.

To hit 110 mph in the 1/4 in a GP, you would be running mid 12's.

Jamhoney ran a 11.23 @ 120.8 in his Comp G and still didn't hit the limiter.

Why? you said yourself you dont need to remove the speed limiter unless your goin to the track. No offense, but you sound like someone who doesnt know a lot about these cars. Heres a link i found when i first got here: 04-08-grand-prix-discussion-f19/office-2004-mod-write-ups-and-other-important-info-t124.html Reading that gave me some knowledge so have at it

How does your N/A grand prix hit 110 at a dragstrip? And were you ahead of the viper?

maybe its a race track with a long straight section, there is no way a N/A gp without some major mods will reach 110mph in the 1/4 mile

I was at the Pike Peak Raceway on a Oval track, the Viper started after me.

Even with the speed limiter removed you won't go much over 130mph, better have tires rated for that. Get boring in a hurry on a oval track. Better off with a corvette.

Oval tracking a GP could be a bad idea since it might cause oil starvation.

Just because it did fine doesn't mean that you didn't wear your rod/main bearings or other key engine components. Oil starvation is a great way to trash a motor very quickly, and oval tracking with a wet sump system is a good way to cause that. Just trying to save you and engine rebuild. :thumbleft:

lol, i am interested in this oil starvation though, because it's a wet sump the oval would make it "run" dry? (think it's running dry?) just asking for the greater knowledge only oval i see myself on it 270 lmao if that counts
