May I ask why you need a higher flowing injector?

YOu can usually find a set of 03-04 39lb Cobra Injectors on SVT forum for around $100. They are plug and play. No splicing needed. Just take off the old ones and put on the Cobra injectors. Who would have thought that Ford parts would plug right into a GM motor.
No matter what injectors you choose, you will HAVE TO TUNE. Otherwise, your engine will run exrtemely rich.

Who would have thought? That's actually pretty nifty. But yes, you need a tune regardless.

I'm guessing you just want to change injectors due to noise.

It was a surprise to the parts guy at the Ford dealership when I picked up a new set of Mustang Cobra injector O-rings for a Pontiac Grand Prix.

I don't know about Scott, but I swapped mine becuase I was leaning out at high RPM's. The bigger injectors solved that problem.

Haha, gotta love the WTF moments like that.

Well I did some searching and I was wrong. Apparently the injectors are interchangeable, but are different flow rates. So L32 injectors will work on an L26 if tuned for it of course.

I read it on GPF.net, and the top swap info thread (which you copied and pasted into a thread on here) makes no reference to there being a difference, but it is suggested to go with S/C injectors since they flow more. This isn't concrete and hopefullly someone will come in here and clear this up because I am curious to what the true answer is.

More fuel flow won't do anything if you don't have more air flow and a tune. And why do you need new injectors?

They probably are different sizes but still interchangable with a tune.

Info and links about swapping injectors can be found on this page. The research was done by Charles Beyerch, the creator of the PowrTuner, and a few other guys that knew what they were doing.

I forgot that we already linked that. I was heavily involved with that site at the time those guys were testing the best ways to mod 04+ GP's. So I instinctively go back there for mod references.

Haha, it's a great thread. Wish I would have gotten into modding my 04.

I still have the stock fuel injectors from my 2004 CompG. L32 injectors are taller than L26 so you'll need to shim up the fuel rail with some washers, pretty easy. And I can do some tuning for them.

the ticking is not going to go away with GTP injectors. These injectors are louder than injectors on any other car I've ever heard. Put your engine cover back on if you don't want to hear them.
