So I have had a set of poly dogbone bushings (the square ones) for a while now. I got them a while back from WBS when they were free with a certain dollar amount spent. I just put em in today after finding them again and all I can say is wow that's alot of vibration. Maybe my lower mounts are a little worse for wear than I thought? I was expecting vibration. But not that much. Lol.

I know mine has vibes ( I have cam also ) but I guess I have gotten used to them, when I got my green car back up and running with stock mounts again I think it feels weird like the motor is gonna jump out from under the hood because it moves so much more. But I have run them for some time and I am used to solid mount racecars and such so the vibes don't really bother me 99% of the time, only sometimes when at a stoplight in gear and neutral helps.

The poly mount route is not for everyone. If you get to where it bothers you too much I am sure you could sell them cheap and just flip the stockers for a little stiffer than stock without the harshness of polys.

I had the Intense poly dogbone setup, and it didn't vibrate that much more, that I noticed. But, the engine was FAR more rigid.

Well, I was expecting the added vibration. And from what I read sounded like maybe it was just through the steering wheel. I just wasn't expecting the WHOLE car to vibrate whilst idling. I actually had the stockers flipped, but I still didn't like the way the engine rocked when revved. When i took the old bushing out, all I had to do was grab one corner of the and pull and they popped right out. Everyone I asked said getting the old mounts out would be the hardest part, but it literally took me 5 minutes including unbolting them from the rad support. So I'm assuming they were shot. Guess I'll leave them on for a bit see if I can get used to them.

I used to drive a Pontiac Sunbird that did this exact same thing, but it wasn't because it had poly mounts in it. It's because it had almost 250K on the odo and was still rocking the original suspension and mounts etc. etc.. :D
