I'm looking at doing a set of replacement heads in the future and was wondering if anyone knew the P/N for the 05' heads?
I'm guessing it's 4781 [4781 under the valve cover,on top of the last runner, near the backside of the UIM mating face]?
This is the P/N Doug Anderson from Groom's said was the one to have in his write up.
The accessory mounting holes on the end of the head look the same as mine on the car as do the pads.
I also have a 8134,but the lower bolt hole doesn't look like it will line up for the alt. bracket.
Can anyone confirm before I swap the 8134?
Thanks.

24507848 is the number in the GM catalog for the '05 L32 head.

Thanks for that..it's a start.
It does however sound like a part number, not a casting number.
I posted this in 2004-08 general tech, but maybe I should post it here too:

Yeah, I believe your number to be a casting number. I had forgotten to mention that. But, if you give a salvage yard the number I gave you, they can use it...usually.

Cool.
I talked to the guys at Morad and I should be stopping by there tomorrow on my way to Michigan.
I think I better get a LIM/UIM combo as well.

I'm thinking I should clarify what my concerns actually are.
I'm worried about the accessory bolt holes.
On the left is the end of an 8134.
The right is a 4781.
See that top,middle hole?
The one next to the 90 degree corner?
Think the accessories will bolt up if you have the wrong head?
Hmmm..........

You know something,you're right!
I just flipped the right head end for end and ..... it looks like the left head.
Oh well ..... I think I'd still rather have the 4781 casting, provided there's no other differences.
