I picked up all new gaskets for my PEMs and DP this week because of an exhaust leak in the front. I pulled the front PEM today and noticed some of the header wrap was messed up. After cutting the wrap back I found the PEM was cracked nearly all the way around the middle primary. The only thing holding it together was the flange and the wrap. Any of you guys run into this?

I just ordered a SS PLog tonight.

good move on gettin the ss instead of ceramic. cuz my ceramic plog is cracked too.

That's how I ended up with my Hulkspeed PEMs. My original crossover pipe had cracks in it..

Full crack 100% all the way around the PEM. I am really shocked it didn't make more noise than it did.

So the ss version of the plog doesn't crack like the like the ceramic?

Dont wrap it and you should be fine. (your exhaust P-log, that is!)
