If you're planning on doing a top swap, don't waste the time and money on an HV3. Also exhaust isn't going to do anything for you on an N/A motor.

Best bang for the buck, buy yourself a tuner and learn how to tune. It will help you pull more power from whatever mods you add later on, and is a great skill to have.

also another thing I did was to smooth out the inlet and outlet of the Throttle body, and I made them bigger, but kept the same size butterfly. So now it flows easier, but just becareful cause you can cut through the housing in some spots.

Doesn't that result in a higher idle? or do you not open it all the way to where the butterfly "touches" the housing? Notice much? I always thught about doing it since its a great DIY mod if it works.

nope doesnt mess with the idle at all. just dont touch where the butterfly touches the opening, leave that alone. just smooth out and open up the little slope half way in the inlet and then smooth the outlet

In combination with a better air intake system, polished lower intake manifold, and even polished heads, an aftermarket exhaust actually makes a significant difference for a N/A. You can polish your LIM and heads yourself if you've got the patience to do so and the 60 bucks it'll cost to buy the tools.

2.5" offroad DP, K&N drop in air filter, new mufflers, and intense tune propelled me to low 15 sec 1/4 mile times while I was NA.

HV3, rockers, headers and a tune. It's about the best you can do without going cammed/forced induction/spray.

1. Open cone intake. Cheap and effective.
2. 2.5" Downpipe
3. HV3

You can really choose from there.. those are the cheaper of the mods. Other than a PLOG. No more basic bolt-ons.

Don't forget a good tune somewhere in there
