well my friend just bought a '99 GT preaty nice car shiny black paint, altezzas (they actualy look good on this car), clear corners (he is getting projectors and giving me the corners ) 18" chrome rims. when he got the car it had flowmaster 40's and a cobble f**ked exhuast. so he had it redone. i need to take a vid of it but it has vary little to no rasp and no drone


from what i remember it has a stock DP with U-bend delete, hi-flow cat, no res, and i want to say rapter? turbo mufflers 1/2" piping.



i think it's the cat thats making sound good if it is just the cat that is making it sound nice performance be damned i will make my car slow just so theres no rasp.

i tryed that with a 32" it sounded like crap and kept setting off car alarms. not something i wanted to deal with as my car all ready says "pull me over i have a sports car"

I have a stock DP to 2.25 piping converted to dual exhaust with 2 Flowmaster Super 44's and u-bend delete, I wonder if my car would sound good with a glasspack?

I got headers, magnaflow cat and custom 2.5" all the way back and splits out to two flowmaster super 44s no res. I think it sounds awesome and is as close to a v8 as itll ever get I really got a get a video of it I like it but its really loud inside the car so some people might not. Really all opinion though...
