As the title stats.. 04 Impala with the 3.8

NO DTS:
About a month ago the car would randomly stall, electronics stay on and the car starts right back up.. RPMs would act funny (hop, stick, catch before increasing.. however you want to describe it) and Initially thought it was the MAF sense. We unplugged it, drove it a day and no stalls BUT the RPMs still tend to act funny, most common is just cruising and letting off the gas you can feel the car slowing but then speed up very slightly for a second or two as if you would just barely press the gas again. Looked and read and looked some more finding a variety of possible causes, then at work Friday a co-worker was talking about his jeep stalling randomly while driving and replaced the Crankshaft sensor and all is good.

Before this started to happen, the only thing odd with the car (in the 60,000 miles) was the sitting still idle.. it tends to fluctuate but not a large amount, the needle shifts maybe 100-150 rpms back and forth constantly..

Any suggestions or input is greatly appreciated!

Sounds ignition related to me.
I would suspect either the module or crank sensor.
