40,000 KMS, not miles.

And its now up to 49,000 kms.

Like I said, my dad and I are not experienced with cars, but i'm always looking to learn. We believe its the head gasket because it leaks coolant and burns oil. My LIM and UIM are also shot which i'm fixed come warmer weather.

I'm only hoping she'll last me to November.

My 2007 GP has a whine when its cold, but when it warms up it goes away. GM powersteering pumps are known to whine.
