Wow other Patrick own SE model like me.

I have both SE cars with 3100 engines.

1. Winter car 65K mileage. All original engine parts.
2. Summer car 106K mileage. All original engine parts but I got new intake gasket few years ago during dex-cool problem. Last year, I already got 100K mileage service for change tranmission fluid and install new spark plugs & wires.

They are still running good. I might be good care of them.

Yes, they are "too slow" engine but I don't complaining about that.

I will thinking about that. I will worry about engine stuffs in 2010. Now, I have to deal with exterior & interior project this year.

As soon as I can get my car running how I want it, my next step is exterior appearance...got one small issue and some things I want to add on... like a pcm, cold air intake, exhaust... then I can worry about how it looks. Maybe someday my Prix will look as good as this guy's^^^^

Has anyone here put a turbo on the 3.1?

GM did it years ago.

Sorry for the vagueness of the question. What I mean't was has anyone turbo'ed there own 3.1 grand prix. I knew that gm had one but that hasn't been for years. looking for someone who has done it to the newer 3.1 grand prix.

There's a 60* in my household. There IS some actual ninjalike fury though, it makes 201 HP.

I don't miss my 3.1. Thing had a viking funeral because it hated itself for being a 3.1

I got a 2000 SE with the 3.1 with around 98,xxx miles and its holding up pretty good.

Our work 95 Monte Carlo has a 3.1 and has right at 167k on it. Its been through hell and back and just now the waterpump went out.

96 SE 4door with a 3100. Bought car with about 135k and a blown one, got a wrecked CS's heart with 100k, put about 15k on it since. Had a waterpump go, and now having starter problems.

02 Grand Prix SE 3100 engine just hit 190,000 miles and still runs like new just changed the oil and fresh tires for the winter should be a fun one.

I just joined and I have a 99 GP SE that ill be turboing soon. Volvo turbo out of a s70 and a universal intercooler and ihave to fab up my own manifold. Pics to come!
