Anybody know what temp. the cooling fans should come on?
gauge said about 240f (scan tool was reading 225) and they hadn't turned on yet.
i have checked relays and even shorted out were they plug in and the come on fine.

also, fans will not turn on when compressor is running, it does have low compression and may be out of refrigerant so if that could be causing my problems at least I have an idea as to why they arnt running

The first fan comes on at about 235*, IIRC, and the second upward of 260*. If the A/C compressor is running, there is enough pressure for the system to work, and SHOULD cycle that second fan on regardless. If you can short it and it engages (the second fan), I wouldn't worry, though.

I wired my second fan off a switch, so that the switch grounds out the relay and triggers the fan. If you do this you need to install a resistor (idr the size) otherwise you will get a MIL for the cooling fan relay.
