I'd like to buy an exhaust setup for my 00 Grand Prix... For instance, ZZP has one... will it fit on my car? I didn't know if the 3.1 and the 3.8 require different models or what.

Palsut has the GMPP exhaust on his car. He has a 3.1.

There is mine.

viewtopic.php?f=14&t=7226&hilit=+exhaust

Let me find the part # for you.

GMPP exhaust system part #12498617

I got it from monsteronline part. They are our vender section too.

Also, I got downpipe too. It is magnaflow 23433 that I brought other site.

http://www.performancepeddler.com/detai ... D=MAG23433

Other one again. I promise it is last one! lol

It is for left exhaust hanger since our SE model only support right exhaust hanger only.

The part # is 12498653. They are GM too. You can buy it from monster online part which I brought all of them together.

There are pictures. And of course see my thread for install them too. ;)

Any question? I willing glad to help. It has been while. I did that last year. It is still running good.

Is this something I should be able to do myself? Is it bolt on, or welded in? So that should pretty much be everything I'll need for exhaust... right?

After view this guy install my car. It looks easy but my single stock exhaust is very rusty bad. I can't remove it out myself so I bring my car to shop to do that for me in good deal price. Yes, everything is bolt on. No weld need but you could if you want to. Yes, you got everything what your SE car need from buying the gmpp exhaust, downpipe and left hanger.

I am just posting these links as reference so you can see the sxhaust as well as the exhaust hanger to convert your single system to a dual system. Check our sponsor monster parts online to compare prices and ask them if its available. Pace does give a discount if you add club gp and attn Greg Was on your order form. I am not sure what the discount percentage is.

Wow, that's high. I remember I paid $430 for exhaust system last year. Now, I see it is $445 from monsterpartsonline. The hanger price is $14 which they are still same. It took me like 1 month to shipping to me but I'm no big rush about that.

Pace is a little higher but they have been around and have taken care of us w body guys. I purchased my GMPP handling kit from them when they first came out many years back. Again it could be cheaper with the discount. Would not hurt to email and ask them how much you can get the parts you need. Monster parts is also good. I have ordered from them and always get my items in a timely manner. Post pics when you get it.

How about gmpartsdirect.com? I think they've got the same setup on there. Also, the handling upgrade... will the one that I find on gmpartsdirect.com fit my car the same it would fit one that is supercharged?

The only reason i don't recommend them is because of their shipping times. They can be quick or slow. Its hard to get a reply from them as well when tracking your order. I still like monster parts or pace.

Yeah, I have little trouble with gmpartsdirect before. I have enough with them. Also, monsteronline part beat gmpartsdirect price too.

Pat, can you (or did you) take a video with sound of your exhaust? I know you can't hear (I'm not picking on ya) but I wanna hear it...

I actually like it. Thought it would be awful with a 3100, but I was wrong apparently.

hey Recovering_Patrick, which exhaust did you go so far? have you tried looking around for magnaflow? I wanted to ask cause you see, I have the magnaflow 23433 just installed and I love it so far, they are cheaper on ebay but I wanted a warranty (the salt on the roads here in winter kills an exhaust) so I got it here magnaflow 23433, or you can try one of the vendors here, they are always running sales/specials. either way its a great system and very easy to install... keep us updated on your new exhaust. power gains, etc etc

to the OP you could take it to an exhaust shop with some pics of a few members systems and they could make you duals for around 250, that's including the pipes, welding and mufflers

After reading owner book of engine few days ago. My 3100 engine fire order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. 3800 engine fire order is like 6-5-2-4-3-1 something like that. That's probably why it is mess up for different fire order.

Thank guys. That's good to know since I couldn't heard it but I can feel it. ;)

Palsut, yer car sounds good. I like the way that GMPP sounds on a 3100. I had a 93 GP SE 2 dr 3.1L (older style) with no res. and Dynomax turbo mufflers and it sounded amazing.
