There is the 3.5 DOHC olds motor (LX5), and then there is the 2004-2006 3500 LX9. Also a VVT 3500 (LZ4 or something, i lost track on the 3.5l V6s). The 3500 LX9 is the one that drops in easiest but requires an external trigger setup, throttle cable driven TB (easy) and the 3100/3400 coil pack setup. Not sure on all the other details. We have a huge thread where someone did the swap but we need a picture/shorter version to get everything simplified.

I can't believe there is a 3100/3400 section on here, and its not at the very bottom.
