Well not exactly from the steering wheel but after I drive for a good 15 minutes it makes a whistle noise when going over 35 that comes and goes depending on where the steering wheel is turned. What is it?

Hm...maybe a vacuum leak or something with the brake booster?

This may be what mine does too. It usually only at the start of driving, i don't recall it happening during or end. I could only think of describing it as a very very soft low PS fluid sound INSIDE the cabin or a vinyl piece rubbing on something. I thought maybe my steering wheel case/cover came off at first but no way.

PS fluid has so far solved the problem. I havn't taken her on a long trip like my 45 minute commute to work since filling the fluid which was low, but well just have to wait and see.

Random other probably incorrect option would be air coming from the wiring holes in the firewall?

It's back with a vengance lol.

It doesn't start untill I drive for a good 15 minutes.
It is really loud when windows are down, I could actually hear it echoing in this one valley I drive through.
Steering wheel must be straight, once turned at all it goes away and come back when straightened back out.
Any pressure on the breaks also stops the squeal.
It does not effect driving at all.
Im guessing power stearing is dying or something with the break.
I can't tell which side it is louder on.

I'm calling in the morning to make an appt to drop it off.

Any resolution? I've had what sounds like a squeegee on glass when doing slow sharp corners. It's a constant sound that doesn't change pitch from start of turn to end. It seems to be noticeable at cold and hot temperatures, not sure what it is. It doesn't sound like P/S whining, although I haven't flushed/checked the fluid in two years (drive the car less than 5000 miles). No leaks either...

It had something to do with the breaks warming up and the clip or something rubbing against the rotor.

Makes sense. Glad it was an easy fix.

Hmm, well that definately isn't the same problem I am having. The sound is coming from behind the steering wheel/column somewhere. There's no popping, or weird clunks, so I am pretty sure it's not ISS related.
