well I am thinking about doing a fwi and I cant decide where to mount the pcm any suggestions please.

The best shot I have of mine right now...

I believe it is in a PCM tray that I got from wbodystore.com. It does not fit well in the tray, as I think they were better suited toward fitting the 97-03 cars.

and please don't buy from wbodystore
ask for an 00 s10 blazer pcm tray and it will be around 12 bucks at the chevy dealer

Just take some hard foam, cut a rectangle piece of it 3/4 inch thick that's smaller than the PCM itself, and do a large zip tie around it and the fender piece below it.... Works like a charm, simple and it's almost free.

Less junk to clean since you can easily wipe around it if needed.

I just ziptied mine down to where the stock airbox sat, did it in my 02 and my 05 with no problems ever.
