Can someone tell me what this is? It is on the back of the engine bay, and it is dripping water? It is the rubberized piece above and to the right of the red threaded bolt.

I believe it's the evaporator drain for the HVAC system... Any moisture will come out of here...

Just making sure. I saw a puddle of water in the garage and it took me forever to figure out where it was coming from.

Looks like someone else posted as I was responding.. LOL. Yeah, nothing to worry about with it... You'll notice a nice puddle if you have the A/C on and idling.

Could be the sunroof drain. I know it's right there, just don't remember exactly what it looks like.

The sunroof drain tubes are under the left & right kick panels.

isn't it kind of weird to have it dripping, even after the car had been shut off for a couple of hours and I did not have the a/c running at all that I can remember.

I believe the A/C comes on automatically if the humidity is above a certain level, even if it's not hot outside.

^^^^ Yeah! What he said! ^^^^

I try to be careful about using the defroster because of the hit
our cars take in the gas mileage department. But sometimes I
forget and wonder why my tank of gas is only lasting three or
four days instead of five or six.

One time it was also dripping on my GP, and I was trippin, and just around that time I had replaced my water pump cuz that was leaking so after replacing it I seen this puddle and thought that my water pump was still messed up. Thing is I had never seen it drip till I had my water pump issue, but I have not seen it drip ever since.
