Fast "take-off" is torque, not horsepower.

Going to link you to this thread ^ since based off this post you don't sound to familiar with this platform. It's a good read and would help you understand what mod route to start off with.

Sell car and run on foot.

Seriously...a human can take off faster than a car from the line.

Tune and rockers would help with take off. Otherwise HV3 is 4k and up, cam depends on how big, and headers dont give you much, if any low end. Hopefully by the end of the year ill have rockers though. And a Plog. Then wait awhile, and see if i want more. Only reason im gettin a Plog is because ive been spending a lot of time in the turbo section lately. God help my wallet if i keep looking and researching.

Yeah I know, but his title is contradictory since HP is higher RPM, while take off is low end torque, thus I blended them together for that mod list

Buy AWD vehicle and never look back ;-)

My only other advice would be to watch how much torque you want to make with whatever setup you go with, these cars are a bitch when it comes to trying to get traction of the line. It's fun to burn tires but you loose that in the seat feel when your car isn't gripping the ground.
