Is there a way to add a sub, amps and component speakers to my car using the stock Monsoon headunit?

What you'll need and I already left it setup and all you'll have to do is tap into the green and blue wire on the rear 6x9's and plug the rca cable from the amp into it :)

yes, but you would be better off getting an aftermarket head unit. you can run a power wire for the sub through the access hole on the passenger side floorboard under the carpet. should see a big rubber block there. you will need to buy a line level converter if you plan on keeping the factory head unit.

do you have any experience hooking up a stereo?

I have an aftermarket H/U but I like all the features of the stock one plus the added extras with the HUD. I have done many installs over the years.

I ran my ground wire from under the back seat cushion. to my amp and if you wanna keep the stock HU ^ thats what you'll need I used that when I had the factory HU running my subs.

The proper interface to use for this is the PAC AOEM-GM24 Amp Add on interface. You can purchase it at: http://www.logjamelectronics.com/pacaoemgm24.html

I have had mine for 4 years and it is working great. You can get more ideas by checking out my install by clicking on my sig pic, and looking at my subwoofer write-up on my web site.

Sam Periperal is actually basically the same as the pac adapter. I have used both of them (pac gm24) then one I use now with no problems.

Myself and other members over on Club Grand Pricks, have had many issues with the PIE and Soundesign Interfaces. The PAC-Audio folks design and manufacture their own stuff, they don't import junk like Soundesign and PIE do, and then slap their label on it.

There are more success stories with PAC interfaces than any other as far as I have observed on the two forums over the last 5.5 years that I have been on here.

^ Yea true but I actually had a problem with my last Pac adapter thats why I went with the Periperal the second time around and I hated the annoying door chimes on the pac.

I've had both PAC and Periperal, with no problems.
