That stamp says made in canada, and our cars were made in canada. I also just checked on that first plug and mine isn't plugged into anything either, so it should be fine

oh okay thanks.. I'm still uncertain on some things

So this Tranny issue, is well, pretty crap... the car only has 36k miles, and maybe once I feel the shifts... depending whether i'm rolling and getting on the throttle hard... I'm not saying its the Pressure control solenoid, but this would be something that will need changing in the future perhaps.. anyone has any luck without changing this?

Some person at this link:
http://cardealerforums.com/alt-autos-gm ... enoid.html

Used transtune.... anyone here know about it?

Thanks for the info on the green connector, does this mean that the wires are run, even inside the car? like where the DIC is?

thx

Yes, the wiring is in the plug in your DIC now, but only the 5 button will read it. There is a swap for the 5 button if you search for it on here.

thx maybe I'll do that, not sure...

But on the made in canada stamp can you clearly see all the letters?
Is there any serial number on that panel?

What about the doors and all, I can't seem to find any... like there's that main one on the driver side door, but no white backing on it, but no id tags (or vin body panel tags) on other doors, to indicate anything... like on our Olds it had a sticker with the VIN on imprinted on it to show that it was the original door.

thx

@Planeboy, for the coolant refill, i realize that there may be just water in the block.... It holds a lot of coolant, so when refilling the radiator with coolant, do we have to drain the rad again and refill with coolant to be sure... in other words the refill cycle will be two times?

Also we bled the brakes yesterday, using a vaccum pump... started as the service manual says, RR, FL, RL, FR.... on the FL part, I think we may have run out of fluid, I can't be sure.... but would have this caused a problem with the RR? or should we just redo the RR....

The brake pedal seems a little bit better, as in it seems to bite a bit earliar, but its still soft... like the first inch or two.. is it normal on these cars?
The Olds felt like this.... unless the pads need to be cleaned off....

thx
