anyone used SSC springs yet? iv been looking into them.. not sure if i wanna take the cheap route to lowering the car or not.. im convinced my front struts are blown at the moment so if i order them they will be sitting on new struts as well.

I got a set, and love them one of the best visiual mods I've done to my car.....(not that I've done much). I the drop and it sitll rides pretty smooth except on bumpy roads I suggest the anti-pogo washers and either compg struts or GXP struts but stock style struts will do just fine. And now the pics...........

milestone, have you had any problems with your halfshafts at all? cuz i know they get set into a "new" postion when the drop is done. thats my only worry. my car is under warranty and i really dont want anything to happen. i dont want the dealership to realize that i put drop springs in and void my suspension coverage. granted thats "if" anything goes bad.

Forgot about those, I have those also the problem I came across is I have headers and offset poly motor mounts and when in reverse my downpipe hits the exhaust tunnel.

Milestone's car is sooooo bitchin with the black stang wheels.

I run springtechs and have had great luck with them.

That's why you should have the lower motor mount spacers in. They re-align the halfshafts back to pre-lowered positions.

I have SSC's with a half set of lower motor mount spacers in and I've been running them for 16K miles with no issues.

See sig block, that's not photoshopped, that's the actual drop.

i had issues with the mount spacers in, it shifted funny and had all kinds of weird noises

my car is lowered even more than normal so really nothing is gonna help in my situation, but maybe for others they would help

"Original Drop" SSC Springs
Claimed 1.7" Drop,...
I see about a 2" drop

I don't have the spacers, but I do have the anti-pogos
I also went with the KYB-AGX Struts, had to replace 1/2 the front end to do it!
I love the ride! I really can't see using the Cobra Mustang Rims above, even if the fenders were rolled they look like they'd eat into the tires

Here's after it's settled more and with the rims I have now
These are 18s the other pictures are 17s
Attachment:

For some reason the forum wants to mix-match my pics...
The double 5 spokes are 17s and not mine anymore
The single 5 spokes are 18s and on the car for a few more weeks b4 I switch to the winter rims
