never had to mess with o2 clearance on any of the cars i installed them one. the 01 gt and the 00 GTX (there is a chance SLP all ready modded the GTX seeing as it had SLP headers before)

For my 04 Comp G I had to beat the firewall in, because this was the result^ It made an awful noise in reverse (I thought it was tranny at time). The noise in reverse would come when I would lightly get on it to back it out. Make sure to provide plenty of clearance for the 02, you don't wanna go through them quickly, they are expensive! Use heat + hammer/air hammer and have a really annoying night. Make sure you include alcohol in your project plans + some gloves.

I put SD headers on two different GPs .... (97 & 04)

What I learned was:

Take the radiator out of the car, or atleast takethe fans out .... I ended up putting a hole in the radiator trying to attach the front header to the crossover pipe.
You will need to hammer on the "tunnel" of your firewall to make room for the O2 sensor.

OR

Drill a hole and weld in another O2 bung thats rotated away from the firewall.

I've also used SLP headers, IIRC the location of the O2 sensor on the SLP does not require any car modification.

Radiator removal completely unnecessary at least for my 04 GTP Comp G. Also, front header comes extremely close to fan guard as most will tell ya. To help this I flipped my front motor mounts, however it is even unnecessary to do that. It seems that it does absolutely no harm just tapping it every once and awhile.
