Hi all, I've got a stock 04 GTP, it's NOT a comp G, got some 18x8 rims with these specs:

Offset +42mm

Backspace 6.10"

Bolt Pattern 5x115

Tirerack.com rec size is 235/50/18

My first choice is 245/45/18 I went to 1010tires.com and this size is the closest to original specs (225/55/17) i.e. diameter, speedometer change etc..

Question 1 Will I have rubbing issues with the 245/45

Question 2 Has anyone put 255/45/18's on a stock GTP as thats my seccond choice. I don't want them to rub or stick out past the body too much.

Should I listen to tirerack and go for the 235/50's which I don't want. Opinions?

245-45-18 will fit just fine, and you won't have any rubbing unless you lower the car a lot. The speedo will only be off a mph or two, you won't even notice it.

GXP's run a 255/45/18 up front if i remember right and there wheel is 18x8 but i dont know the backspacing
