Well all i can say is I'm a Jacka$$. I was on my way to work this morning and i decide on this open stretch of road to go WOT. Now really its been awhile since I have just lay'd it out like that. Well I knew something wasn't right at the top of first, then going into the top of second.... hesitation then misfires which lead to a check engine light. I knew exactly what it was...SPARK PLUGS. Oh its been well over a year (or more)on my Autolite 103's, and well I have had my new set with zzp wires on my toolbox at work for over 3 months now and i needed them then. Just plain stupid! Changed my plugs with my new 103R's and zzp wires and holy hell! Its a new car. Unreal power band in which i don't ever recall it being like that. Well lesson learned, Don't make the stupid mistake I did! I guess just working on cars everyday i neglected mine. oh yea when i took the old spark plugs out....what a joke! DESTROYED

When you say they were destroyed, what exactly does that mean? Was the ground strap bent to the electrode?

I had an issue with plugs and wires lately. Somehow the plug was causing the wire to short (I believe) and was causing hesitation through the band (I figured this out when I too tried to go WOT). Changed plugs and wires and things are running great.

I'm with ya. 103's do not last long for me, but they fight knock like a mother f****r. I carry an extra set of plugs, wires, and coils in my tool box that goes with the car.

How many miles are you guys getting out of your copper cores? Ive had mine in for about 3 thousand miles and im starting to notice some missing as of late.

My car still needs dyno tuned and is running rich, but I am only getting about 2k out of 103's before I have them out and clean them off.
