I think you can use the exhaust off the 97-03 cars too. Otherwise just buy mufflers and call it a day

If you buy the loud mouth mufflers and the smae resonator as they use it will sound the same and you wont be spending nearly as much.

Here are the mufflers: http://www.americanmuscle.com/slp-loudm ... QAodXn_qTQ

Or isntead of getting the slp resonator pick up a cherry bomb glass pack. Got to an exhaust shop and have them put in the glass pack, and the mufflers. Total cost after mufflers, glass pack, shipping, and installation should be around 300. At least around here it would be

As long as they are 2.25 or 2.5 inlet and outlet size they will work. For the glass pack just go to your local auto parts store and tell them you want a 24 inch or bigger glasspack. Mufflers are mufflers and they will work on an vehicle

so if i get the loudmouth mufflers and a glass pack that would do it? muffler shop would slap them on. will that give me the low throaty sound from a v6?

if i had the slp kit i could replace the the power flow muffler with the loud mouths right? as well?

honestly browse youtube and search grand prix exhaust and start looking for what sounds nice to you

i bought the zzp catback and headers and never heard them, slowly they have become just right for me. except, it is extremely loud in the cab and drives anyone up a wall except my brother and "gf"

All exhausts sound quiet compared to my complete lack of one

It's all boils down to if you want a comfortable cruiser which is mellow while going down the highway yet still have some growl when you get on the loud pedal, or if you want an animal all the time. Smaller resonators (glasspack in place of one also) or no resonator at all adds rasp, but also adds drone when cruising. Mufflers will each have a different tone and characteristic so watching videos helps figure out which one is the best for you.

My full custom exhaust on my GP is louder than my dads HemiRam with dual exhaust.

^^x2. If your 90*V6 with an exhaust "sounds like a Porsche" flat 6, then a Hemi V8 with an exhaust has to sound like a V12 or W16  Continuing to break your balls til proof of "full custom exhaust's" epicness is displayed.

I swear I've heard this story before. I believe it involved a turbo GXP owner, or rather his dad's turbo GXP, or rather rather his dad's N/A GXP. Still waiting for pic from that guy.........
