My 2006 Prix recently starting to have the security alarm go off at random times even without the alarm being activated and the doors not locked. It was lovely being woken up in the middle of the morning waking up the neighbors. I eventually took out the fuses to the horn so now it just blinks for 2 minute periods when it goes off.
I've searched the internet and read of grounding out the alarm and other things but wanted to hear if anyone had a better explanation or fix for this most annoying thing.
I don't really care about setting the alarm all the time since I live in the country but would like to have it function normal.
Any info would be great!

Every get a random door ajar warning for nothing?

Thinking maybe a bad door, trunk, or hood latch sensor is causing this to happen.
