plus the shipping on the inferno makes it just as expensive anyway. plus the extra you will have to pay to get it to fit. prolly be cheaper in the long run to get the SE

so expensive for so little product. plus paining and insallation. but it makes a world of difference! so sexy! has there ever been a group buy for either the se or inferno fascia?

If you really compare it to other auto parts, then the price is not too bad. I bought one for 270.00$ including shipping, I was kind of weary at first if it was even worth it. It was about another 150$ to have the air dam and the SPO spoiler painted, but man do they make a difference.

I have the Inferno on my 20004GPgt2---IMO it looks more aggressive than the SE fron GM. As for price its $189.00 plus another $149.00 to ship from PFYC. It depends how you want to look at it. You could say it cost $289.00 plus rest for shipping. I think when this first came out on PFYC for the 04 GP the price was $289.00. So they now say on sale for $189.00. Its no bargan, but a must have either the SE or Inferno type dam, the stock setup looks non-aggressive. Has for Inferno it is well made not some cheesy fiberglass setup that you see tack on the Honda etc...

However, there are fitting issues-& I think I read somewhere else that someone also had the same issue. I had mine painted and installed by local autobody shop..not cheap it cost me fig anywhere from $300.00-$500.00 (NEW ENGLAND area prices) unless you know someone maybe you can get a lower price. The instr that came with the Inferno Air dam is bunch og crap..they give you self sticking tape and tell you to use adhesive and two bolts to use along the wheel wells. The auto body shop told me -I don't think so; this will fall off in no time. So we both studied this and fig the best course of action was to cut the center piece of the stock facia; And slide the Inferno over the uncut portion & use extra bolts to secure the air dam. This isn't going anywhere unless you have an accident. The only drawback to installing is the the fitting issue -meaning there were some gaps along the seams. But this is very small flaws. Overall for me it was worth it. Makes the front end look better. Did I pay for it ? Yes I did...but what the hell this will proberly be my last car I will ever purchase in long while. So if you want it bad enough either an SE version or the Inferno...go and do it
