I like the look of the roof rails, it gives the car a racy look. I wouldn't mind having them on the G8 but nobody makes them. Maybe the ones from the GP would fit though. Hmmm....

Agreed. Also i'll be nervous about them coming off from either double sided tape or someone else using a flathead and prying them off. Not worth the worries and there pretty pricey.
