So i am going to get my stock tips switched on my GP. Its a base model but has a dual GP GT exhaust installed now. I am getting a single 4 inch round rolled tip on each side. The shop owner told me I could remove the resonator to give me a little bit more sound. He said it wouldnt be a lot, i dont want a ricer sound or a diesel loud truck sound ha, but it would be a little better. I'm curious as to what it will sound like with the resonator removed. So it will be like a stock GT exhaust with mufflers and all just different tips and no resonator. Any ideas?

removing the resonator will cause a lot of rasp. therefore giving you that ricer sound. dont do it, to get a deeper sound get some aftermarket mufflers if your funds are low. if not get a whole system

I wanted to remove my resonator and put another one in. Isn't the stock resonator more restrictive, any one looked in the OEM resonator to see if it is a perforated core.
