Any bypass modules or anything like that?

If you've never done it, have it installed. Remote starters are way more complex than a stereo.

To make a garden variety starter work on a GP is going t take an extra 150 or so in relays. Plus tons of your time. They're just something that is so much easier to have done then to do it. I do my own stereo installs, but a starter isn't worth the time to money savings ratio.

i agree. i had done my own audio install, but did not want to possible mess up my wiring system messing with alarm/RS install. i had a shop do it. they had it done in 3 hours and it has lifetime warranty on the parts and labor. so it was worth it for me to have it done. but a couple of my buddies have done there own install and it worked out good, but i did not want to risk it.

That's $299 for basic install. They might charge extra for the bypass modules required.

It's really not that difficult, most of the connections are low power negative connections to the bcm, done right at the drivers side. only need the hood pin and engine speed plus power in the engine bay. did mine for sub $100 with a spare key bypass module. 2800ft range ultrastarter unit. (no alarm) most difficult thing was figuring out how to disable the bypass when the key was inserted. I only needed 2 relays, one for the trunk release, one for the keysense/bypass turn off

in the process of puting mine on now. I am using a viper 560vx with the flashlogic bypass (no extra key  ). just don't pull the plug out of the ingnition cylinder or you will have to have the keys reprogramed (found that out the hard way  ). I have my buddy helping me that used to intstall them for a living. He has installed hundreds of them and has never had one do that.
