Hey guys, tried a quick search but no real luck. My passenger door handle (rear outside) is half broken. I will still open but I have to be careful when lifting it. Its the right hand side tab that appears to have snapped so the door handle kind of hangs there by the left arm so to speak.

Has anyone else had this issue and is it a pain in the A$$ to fix? Any thoughts or advise? Pretty sure is from my 2.5 year old always trying to lift the bloody thing.

thanks in advance!

Probably just easier to buy a new/used one instead of fixing something.

Thanks guys, any quick tips on how to install? Do I get access by removing the door panel inside?

1. Click on "GM Service Manual up top".
2. Sign in with you GPONA login information.
3. Click "Grand Prix (Vin W) Service Manual.
4. Search "Door handle" at the top with the default search options.
5. Under "Doors" Select #4 (Read side door outside handle replacement)

All direction to perform this are right there. Sorry for the bad link. Must have to log in first to get right to it or something.

use painters tape to attach your screws to your torx bit.
you'll need to adjust the rod a few times which sucks ass.
the screws are mainly hidden my the plastic and the outer ones should be hidden by a black cap by the door latch
