Yup it's possible, heres what mine look like which I got the body shop to paint while my car was in the body shop.

I know you can do it yourself but im not sure how long the paint will last before it cracks and peels or whatever since plastic parts need a flex agent added to the paint.

wow looks real good! my clear coat on my bumper is chipping so I'm going to have it repainted so ill just have them do the plastic pieces at the same time

Depends on what color you want. It sets it off nicely to remove the pins under the car and pop it off to paint it black. I rattle canned it black with krylon and it chips but I mean not a big deal especially if its over the stock dark plastic.

tod1d my car is maroon, i was thinkin about paintin the plastic pieces white adn powder coating my rims white, however if it chips i may just paint it maroon so if it does chip a bit it wont be as noticable as white
