Ok, I just bought a 3.6 pulley for my 05 gtp. I don't want to blow my engine so I'm not installing it till I do a little more to the exhaust. I want to keep the car running for a while because it is my daily driver. But I would like to be able to drop a pulley size and have some fun once in a while. I've heard good things about the p-logs but I've also heard that headers are more "bang for your buck" not to be a douche. I hate cheesy sayings. Anyways...what should I do?

My opinion is to save and get headers in the long run its gonna improve your hp gain more than a plog would and benefit you alot more when you decide to drop the pulley.

it also kinda depends on what you plan on doin in the future also i know of a guy making 350 to the wheels with front and rear pems but all in all headers would be the way to go because if your gonna do front and back pems or headers either way they can be a pain to install so i say save for headers you can find a good set of used ones for around 200 and youll have better gains and be able to do alot more

I used a plog for a while and then went to headers. It wasn't quite the change in power I was hoping for but installing the headers was a ton of work. Swapping the front exhaust manifold to the plog was easy. I still have the stainless plog. I sent it back to ZZP to get the primaries rewelded. I haven't used it since I got it back because I had already installed the headers. I would be willing to sell it if I could get your stock front manifold to keep. Message me if you're interested.

I will let you know, I'm not pressed for time because it's something I'm going to work on in the spring. I live in michigan and don't really need to drop a pulley in the winter. I've heard installing headers is a tough job but I've got a friend at a muffler shop so we will probably just do it there after hours. I guess I just need to hold out for headers then, I know for a fact that if they are sitting in my garage...I'm going to install them haha. Thanks for your imput guys
