Well I had the opportunity about a week ago to do a hand wash on my car because of nice temps outside. I then purchased a porter cable buffer along with swirl remover, and finishing glaze. I had some polish laying around as well. I applied Collonite this time in two thin layers after the swirl remover and finishing glaze. Here is the results, I apologize as I do not have a good camera on me at the moment (cell phone pics). The paint reflections are much sharper than before and the gloss is on another level. Please forgive the front bumper and front of hood (near air inlets) the rock chips were fixed with touch up paint that looks horrible. The front needs a repaint. Try to get more pics tomorrow outside weather permitting.

That would be a waste of time since that shit last for a month

I used Collonite and the shine is actually a lot better then what I've shown with my crappy camera pics in horrible lighting.

So here is a tricky one for some of ya. I don't think this will work, but correct me if I'm wrong. Will Zaino's sealent work overtop of 2 think layers of collonite or would this be a complete and udder waste of time and potentially ruin the good look mixing wax w/ sealent? Doesn't sound good to me but it doesn't hurt to ask.

i responded to your pm but ill respond here as well....the zaino will work over top of the collonite but the zaino wont last as long since it isnt sitting on bare paint...sealants last longest when they go straight onto the paint....i use a Adams super sealant as my base and top it with Adam's americana which gives that extra pop....it wont ruin the shine as long as you arent putting a bunch of layers of wax on which you shouldnt need to since collonite lasts so long

Hey pally, you dissin' my boys at Meguiars?
They make good stuff and I've been having some good luck with it....so thppppppttttttt!!!!!
The Collonite [from what I've read] is a good,clear,non-sparkly wax.
Seems to me they recommend it for furniture and such as well.
It doesn't take too well to sealants on top of it.
It doesn't mind other waxes on top however.
