I just purchased a top swap from morad parts
(Eaton Gen V Blower) and everything needed for top swap,
hd internals for the transmission,
and a wire harness for the engine/supercharger.

Morad parts gave me a pretty good deal and cut some prices off the transmission parts and wire harness.

I still need all the gaskets/ torque to yield bolts/ and a new PCM.

I still have a few questions.

Will a stock GTP PCM work with this? or do I have to go with overkill or zzp?
Where the hell do I get all the gaskets and bolts... haha

Thanks.

yes a stock gtp pcm will work but you will have more performance with a aftermarket one. you can get gaskets and bolts from your local auto parts store.

LIM gaskets (get GM)
Head gaskets(feltpro)
SC gasket,(feltpro)
TB gasket,(Feltpro)
Head bolts(16) need to replace because they stretch so there a one time use
Crank pulley bolt(GM)
possibly Coolant elbows

i think thats it

Okay here is what I have gotten so far

Top Swap
Heads
Valve Covers
Lower Intake Manifold
Fuel Injectors
Fuel Rail
Eaton Gen V Supercharger
Throttle Body
Vac Lines
Idler Pulleys
Brackets
Balancer
Wiring Harness

HD internal Trans Parts

Upper and Lower Coolant Elbows
ZZP Pcm for Top Swap
Serpentine Belt (Size 667 for stock pulley)
Crankshaft Bolt
S/C Oil (2 4oz bottles; get 3 just in case)
Lower Intake Manifold (LIM) Gasket (1)
Head Gaskets (2)
Throttle Body Gasket (1)
Head Bolts (16)
Intake Plenum Gasket "Super Charger Gasket" (1)

You will need a pulley puller for the harmonic balancer.

I think I have it all... correct me if I need anything else.

your trans settings will be different then the ones on a gtp pcm. you will have to have that changed or get one from overkill

I got one from ZZP with the stock trans gear ratio settings (non hd), until I get my HD parts into my transmission.

the hd doesn't make a difference its the gear ratio so you shouldn't have to change anything else once you get the hd stuff in.

okay thanks for the help everyone :)

Nick and I, put it all together in 2 days (we took our time and ran into a few problems)

problems:
EGR valve clip broke
Coolant Sensor Temp broke (that electronic plastic piece that's near the thermostat housing)
Top Swap Bracket for the coils use different bolts than the regular GT bracket (didn't come with those damn bolts)
Harmonic Balancer was a bitch to pull off

We found the bolts in a you pull it junk yard, but everything else had to be ordered. That's what took us so long. We could have actually finished it in about 1 day.

After we finished, we flushed the dexcool and ran green coolant, changed the supercharger oil, changed the engine oil and made sure it everything ran right. The first time we started the car up, it took a good 10 seconds to start up (fuel rails needed purging). Now it starts right when I turn the key.

As of right now, I'm not running the car hard (50-70% throttle at most), I'm trying to break it in so we don't run into complications. But it seems to be working awesome.

Huge difference from the supercharged and NA, my girlfriend thought there was something wrong when she heard the supercharger whine
I had to explain it to her and she still doesn't understand lol

Throttle is more responsive too (even at cruising speeds)

If I can find my damn camera, I'll get some pictures haha

In the picture is my friend Nick, he just got home from kuwait (he's a civilian contracter; diesel mechanic).
He's the one that taught me most of what I know about engine internals.

I'm still trying to re-route some of the plug wires to make the engine bay look nice... lol

Oh, the hell with the turbo... I'm going top swap too. W/ stage 2 heads, rockers, intercooler, and not so sure about a cam. Still researching around.

Great work. Some inspiration for my project.

Question. Did you change out the entire harness? That is the only thing Erik from Morad's didn't quote me a price on.

No need for a new harness. There's minor differences between the two (ie. MAP, and BBV)
