2004 CompG. Short dogbones and lowered on ZZP springs if that matters.

For the past couple weeks, my "Service ABS/Traction Control/Stability Control" has been going off intermittently. Usually it comes on when I start the car, but if I move it ten feet, turn it off and back on, it clears. I've also noticed that it will get triggered if I hit a bump, particularly on the right front.

I've checked the wires, they seem snug. I've also done a bit of google searching and checked that the fuses and relays are secure.

I'm wondering if I have a bad hub, but could there be any other cause for this?

Sounds like a bad wheel speed sensor. Replacing the hub should fix it.

You have a compG, it could be the ABS unit which is difficult to find and expensive to replace. There are a number of us on here that have had to replace this unit already and it gave all of the symptoms that you mentioned as far as all of the dash lights are concerned.

I believe that there was one member who sent his in to someone and had it repaired for much less money than a used or new one. I paid ~$400 for a used one from Ed Morad a couple of years back and he told me that I was lucky that they even had one becaue they are hard to find.

Sounds like the same problems I'm having, except now my service engine light came on, a buddy of mine scan the computer it turns out the engine is not running hot enough, so not my car won't pass inspection.

Do post on what you did to fix it the Service ABS/Traction Control/Stability Control.

Dunno why but since I noticed that my right front tire pressure was at 20 and the other side was at 36, so i added more air now instead of the light coming over as soon as i drive the car, now it only comes on after 30 miles of driving :?: gonna foul around with it as soon as it starts to get warm outside maybe just a loose connection.

This sounds like something loose, but my problem started intermittently (for about half a day) before failing completely. I had the C0896 code and it was the EBCU. I had it rebuilt by http://www.cheap-abs.com/ for $110. If that's the problem and you go that route, tape the connectors before shipping, and I'd recommend getting a large Priority mail envelope and stuffing it in there. For you I'm thinking it's not the EBCU, but I'm not a whiz at this stuff.

Either a broken wire to a wheel sensor or the ebcm. I have the same thing.
