I have no sun roof / moon roof... is it possible to still install sunroof by cutting the roof and retrofitting it?

aftermarket yes, but not a factory unit. the roof is cut a certain way in production. in a wy that it has a protruding lip under the roof. the aftermarket units have the fixed ring on the outside. and funny part is spoiler roofs are cheaper to install than the regular slide back roofs. but you can get a regular slider on a wbody, but i like the spoiler roof on our cars.

you're looking at probably at least 1000 bucks i'm guessing for a aftermarket roof. I'm pretty sure they vary big time in price depending on if you want one that slides and opens, or an actual moonroof that goes back inside the car. They also depend on how big you want to get it. I looked it up like 3 years ago and decided it wasn't worth it on my car for the price.

Also aftermarket sunroof usually leaking more than factory sunroof. It will be tough to make it right. Again it is not worth it for me. I never own sunroof so I don't really miss it. That's what side windows are for.

Glad i know people lol, dude does them for 650 and gives lifetime warranties in Ga. he can do either the reg or spoiler (which is cheaper).

I had an aftermarket one cut into mine for about $1200 CAD with a lifetime warranty. The exact one I had put in was the Webasto Hollandia 322L Power Spoiler Sunroof. There is a complete showroom online @ www.webastoshowroom.com.

^^he can do anything convertables to, i seen him doing a panoramic on a caddy man that was a big a$$ roof

could do a removible targa top for cheap. have some lock pins and what not. idk how your roof looks though, if it has the sunglasses holder and what not like mine dose
