It seem "ok" not good but isnt as horrid as i thought. Im watching kr an from any roll, second gear on only barely 1.0* of kr at shifts, and did a couple dig/lauches. Lauches friggen hard an no kr till the top of the rpm band/ the shift point which the highest i saw was 4.0... i put my 3.5 back for now till i go to the track an have some higher octane fuel, new plugs an cold dense air.. What you think should i risk it? or no? a couple people told me not to worry about kr in shifts only through WOT?

i dont think anyone has found a way to get rid of the kr when shifting. Some of the guys in MN pully up for winter, and other dont. But then again its usually cold here during the winter

Considering you have the supporting mods and headers with a free flowing exhaust you should be fine I would think.

Take what I have to say with a grain of salt. I'm struggling to put on a 3.5 without seeing KR during WOT in colder temps, however the 3.6 works fine. We are at a very similar mod level and you are attempting a 3.4? Sounds like it could be dangerous without a cam or rockers. On a Gen III blower that would be equivalent to running a 3.2" setup which I don't think your car is at the mod level yet. I do realize that each car is different and you could have gotten lucky with a car that had low to no KR from factory.

When you saw the 4.0* some of it could be from false knock but I would think you need a few more supporting mods because I see about 2.5 - 3* with my 3.4 but I'm maxing out my stock injectors. I personally would say just stay at the 3.5 for now.

I ran 3.4 with a cold air intake and cat back exhaust for about year and half. I had no problems but I will say that when I did the mods I have now, the plugs I pulled out were showing it was running a little lean.

This, when tuning bump the timing up more give you an extra little bit in the top end.
