Why not just fill them in and paint the bumper.

It's so minor I wouldn't waste the money buying a bumper unless you find one for dirt cheap.

Honestly, you should feel lucky that you don't live where a front plate is required. I'd trade a front plate for three little plastic plugs.

My new bumper still has dimples in it to aid with drilling the holes... I'd just leave it as is. If I get the car back soon (yeah, it's taking forever), I'll post pictures...

One way I see to fix. Mount something like lights there so it is useful .. jk

For real tho if it is that bad take it to a body shop and have them fill them and respray the bumper. Shouldn't be more than a couple hundred bucks. ( far cheaper than getting a new bumper and having it painted, and still possibly having the "guide " dimples there.)

I know, isn't our new Ohio plate just awesome? I sent an email to the BMV saying how hideous it is, like a child drew it with crayons, and they basically responded with "it's selling really well, so we're right and you're wrong." How does a license plate not sell well??? It's not like I can just go buy an Indiana plate instead.

Another reason I'm glad I still have the old school red white and blue plates. The new plates sell well because new cars sales in ohio are up, it has nothing to do with it selling due to it's hicktown design. We can't "shop around for plates" so their response is just dumb, as is most of ohio motor vehicle's responses to just about anything. Blame our stupid ex governor's wife for that design by the way. The plate is getting changed though so the farmtown crap is going to be a gone. Now to just pass house bill 107 so that we don't need front plates anymore and we'll be set.... Not that I ever put a front plate on anyhow
Can anyone tell I'm a little salty about ohio laws and our stupid government officials? ;-)

Back to the subject though, fill holes, paint, done. Save the money especially since if you wanted to keep the Pontiac arrow you'd have to get an OEM bumper and that's pricey. Aftermarket ones aren't quality and don't have an indent for the arrow.

This is the new plate design. The words in the background are being "submitted and voted on" or some such nonesense, but either way, this is way better than our Farmville crap, which by the way, wasn't supposed to be our default plate design in the first place. Forgot to mention this in my last bash Ohio Gov post before  The plate was supposed to be only an optional plate design, the red, white and blue was still going to be the default one, but Strickland decided to order a couple million dollars worth of these Farmville plates since I'm sure he was so proud of his wife's fingerpainting and stereotyping skills. But the plates weren't selling when they were an option and Strickland needed to move his surplus of plates, so what better way than to make it the "new" default plate design. That way he could eliminate the surplus and cover up him spending millions on on something that wasn't selling.

Our drivers licenses are changing as well from that stupid pink crap we have, still better than New Yorks business card quality thing though

Wow, a simple design that can actually be read from more than 5 ft away. I approve.
