I just picked up my 5th GT (98, 00, 06, 04, 05). None of them disappointed.

Keep in mind, most insurance companies are less for GTs.

With an HV3, Intake and a Tune they can be quick for a heavy GM V6.

the merc feels faster then the GTP becuase fo this

x2

I hated the stock shift points on my car, esp after i did headers and exhaust. Always would bog then kick in the boost with a jolt just to get it going again. The overkill pcm made it drive much better.

You don't count. Your car is not really a GT. It's a GTP that got it's true badge taken away because of some stupid decision by some marketing idiot.

True lol. One of these days it will get all the badges taken away when I stop being lazy.

I kind of wish i got a GTP when i was lookin around for cars. That 280lb-ft torque sounds really good to my 230.

my dad has an 03 GT and from the line it pulls better in first gear but he says it is very hard on gas, even on the highway.

but once my GenV kicks in, there is no comparison.

the diffrence between the milage of a GT and GTP is nill about 3mpg and all of that is do to the horrible gearing the GTPs have

i rather have a GT then add a blower to it then get a GTP. i got the 99 becuase it was inexpensive and it was for my parents so i did not want to tare the engine down
