There is a guy local who is parting out a 06 GP.

I'm planning on buying:

-Complete black leather interior including door panels
-Carpet
-Spare tire, and cover
-Trunk mat and carpet
-Drivers side lower B-pillar trim

Possible:
-Radio
-Dual zone climate control plus parts


What should I offer?

See how low he is willing to go start at like $450 first. Sometimes people just want to get rid of something. I bought a $600 weight bench system plus 300 lbs olympic set for $150 I know it's not a car part but I'm proud of that deal haha.

I offered $500 for 'anything you don't want out of the interior'(he said he just wanted the dash or something)

"Nah, I'd rather keep them for that price."

I then offered $500 for just the seats

"Ok i will have to think about it. I really want to keep the black. I would do the tan for $500 but i think i'll need more for the black to sway me into selling it."


Sigh. I still hope to get other parts from him, but I'm not made of money! LOL


I would LOVE to just buy the whole god damned car, but I definitely don't have enough for that.

What I found out when trying to repair and replace stuff on my old 06 gp is that everyone parting out a 04-08 thinks their parts are worth 10x as much as they are actually worth. Look on ebay to be honest, cross your fingers for stuff close. I see GXP seats float across on ebay for $200-$300 sometimes. Or you can always just buy the covers and pay a interior place to install them. I've seen Leather covers for $100 or so (Why or How they are taken off seats still boggles me)

I took the plastic piece off the back of the pass seat and the cover seemed to come off easily, although I didn't do it. And who knows for the other seats, lol

yeah I think the fronts would be fairly easy if you had the seats out of the car.....I don't know about the back though

you could get katskinz covers and do it yourself
