thanks lukky you've been a big help bro. I am ordering my HID's today Ill post some pics when I have them installed

I was reading a couple things off some websites about the HID color laws and it seems like anything other than white/yellow are illegal?

http://forums.officer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41131

I was thinking about getting the 10k's,but it seems like some cops pull over any car they see with an HID conversion blue or any other color than white/yellow. Now I am thinking maybe 4300k or 6000k.
VVME only sells 880's for the fogs, will I have to do any mods to get them to work?

I have yet to be pulled over, or know anybody around who has been pulled over, for H.I.D.'s (other than meangreengtp, but he had the green colored H.I.D.'s). Once summer hits, think I'm gonna bump my low's n fog's up to 12000k.

And no, you won't need to do any mods to get the 880's hooked up. Well, I take that back, you MAY need to do a small adjustment. With mine, for my fog's, I had to take off the seal that's around the bulb so it would fit into the housing. I haven't had any problems with water getting in. That's the only "mod" or "adjustment" you may need to make, it'll take all but 30 seconds to do.

When you get them, if you have any probs installing shoot me a pm n maybe I could make my way out towards you. But you seriously shouldn't have any probs.

hey jeff.dewolfe did you have any problems with your DRL's or radio interference? i put in a set of 6000K in my 2008 GP and had problems with them not coming on correctly during the day. and i also had a ton of radio interference so i had to take them out. does anyone know how to fix my issues? i really liked my hid's and want them back in.

With the radio interference, it's pretty much common with the HIDs. I believe a fix for this would be to ground your HIDs, but you can either wait for Z3RO to respond or shoot him a PM, I believe he may know a lil more about that.

As far as the DRL's, what do you mean not coming on correctly during the day? As in, not coming on at all?

The buzzing is normal with the ballasts ...

Grounding the HIDs will help with the radio interference. I run a relay harness with the HIDs I have on my 99. I was getting radio interference. I cleaned up the ground location and the interference went away.

As far as the DRL's for the later year grand prix I found this.

The only problem you'd maybe have with having your fog's on 24/7 is the HID's not lasting as long. Don't get me wrong, they should still last you a good amount of time. As far as the DRL's, I really wouldn't know as I don't have DRL's in my 04.
