Hello,

My driver information center in my 04 GP GTP comp g stop working. There's no display at all. My heads up display only shows my mph and when changing radio stations and such. No other info as far as heading, and air temp. The DIC is completely blank. It will tell me if cruise control is on.

Any ideas on where I should start looking? Fuses, etc. Or do they just stop working like that?
One day it was working the next it just stop.

I've search the forums on this but it comes back with nothing as it read DIC as a swear.

Kind bites me as I cannot see my OD.

From the manual....

DISPLAY OFF: The screen will “count down” and then
go blank. Press the options button to advance to a
new screen.

Have you messed with the DIC settings and hit a wrong button when this happened???

Do you have your manual in the car.....Section 3 page 45 or I can email you the manual in .pdf!!!

FUKK it..I emailed you the manual anyways!!!!

Yeah I know how to shut it off, it counts down and then shuts down. I've done it before but usually if you press enter it will turn back on.

I have the orginal manual will take a look at it now. Its weird, maybe I am missing something.

Hm, what color are your socks?

Lol just kidding, I've actually had this problem before and resetting it worked for me.

LOL @ Dboy.

How do I reset it?

I've pressed all the buttons. Should I undo the battery for a few?

Cannot get any life out of it.

Again I know how to shut it off, but u press enter and it comes back on again. When I fire the car it usually says GP in it, but I get nothing.

Have you pulled the front cover off to make sure the harness is plugged in properly below the DIC display? You never know.... I believe there are a few things you can try in the user manual at the top of the site. I browsed through it before, there's a good amount of information there to assist.

Problem Solved. Apparently this is a issue with the D.I.C. in this particular model. I had to pull the Display fuse. Second one down in the middle row of the Passenger side fuse box.
Pulled it out for a minute, put it back in and it was like it never happened.

I didnt even realize there was a service manual link at the top of the page. Forgive my ignorance, and thank you all who took time to reply to my post.

Much appreciated and very happy with the result.
