Has anyone successfully done a case relearn on a 2004 Grand Prix GTP / Comp G with aeroforce guage? I've tried the instructions on the Aeroforce gauge but the fuel never cuts out and I end up just revving for 5-6 seconds or longer with no success. The gauge tells me to shut off car (automatically does this) then states that it will be 30 seconds before I should turn it back on. Is there any certain way someone knows on how to do a real case learn with the aeroforce with 04 GTP combo?

Maybe the issue is that I'm reading on the aeroforce "put into park" on gauge and I'm suppose to have it in auto or neutral? Then I should apply ebrake so car doesn't move and keep brake pressed so it would hold car still so I could reach RPM's desired? Gauge says I need to reach 4-5k rpm's for the fuel cutout to happen and when sitting in park the rev limiter prevents this.

What are you trying to acheive?

AFAIK 04+ don't need a case learn, just a security relearn which directions for can be found here: 04-08-grand-prix-discussion-f19/security-relearn-for-2004-grand-prix-pcm-install-t1010.html

Are you sure that 04+ don't need a PCM relearn?

I was having some sputtering going on today which so happens to come and go as it pleases, I've tried cleaning MAF sensor in past, along with cleaning out throttle body. I then started to think, hey I've done all these mods with a tune and no relearn. So I attempted today to do a relearn. Apparently there is no sure fire way to tell if a relearn has actually been set because nothing tells ya. So I did the procedures for it several times (according to aeroforce gauge) and it has fixed my sputtering issue (for now). I know, it could have been bad fuel but maybe this could have been a issue? I'd like to hear all of your thoughts.

Were you given a confirmation of any kind or anything that happened that let you know what you did? What did you do exactly? Can you go step by step?

Thanks. Just making sure I did this right.
