nvm...

Im starting a parts collection for when it gets a little warmer and I can work on the car in my garage. Im also picking up some Hawk HPS pads. The goal is to not have to give my car a football field of stopping distance any more.

Ill also be picking up some new tires, can anyone recommend some performance all season tires? Im tired of driving on 1980's snow tire technology.

Thanks!

lol i hear you on the stopping distance :P , as far as tires, theres a new thing they do where they cut the tires, pretty neat concept, they do it at discount tire, check it out, they said it makes a mid grade all season perform like a high grade so i said why not, as always blizzaks rule the road for snow

Yea I have firestone winterforce, they were 80 bux a piece from tirerack and are amazing in light to deep snow. But as far as dry or wet pavement, its like driving on bubblegum.

Yea well a long with my abs and trac control off I spin out and lock up the tires all the time. I hope these timken hubs are better than the National ones I put in before. They only lasted a few months before I started getting the warning lights again.

I've been using Goodyear Eagle GT's for about 4 years (on my second set). They are
very good in wet and dry... and competent in light to moderate snow. The only time
I had trouble with them was in 8" of unplowed snow, trying to go up a hill from a standing
start. I ended up having to back up about 50 feet and get a running start. The traction
control whined the whole time, but I made it. ;-)
