you have to swapp out the compleat HVAC dash unit to do so plus the dash wiring and sensors

it is involved but can be done

the cutlass has it. the passenger temp control is on the door. the 01 had it i always adjusted both the same amount, and the 99 has it i just leave it on the single temp control and never adjust it sepritly

Your car can be converted to dual climate but it is alot of work...Alot

You need;

Digital dual climate control from an 05 or higher
Temperature control valve/flap P/N:89018311 (bought new for $55.75) (this is the flap that moves to change temperature ans is two halves instead of one piece)
Sunload sensor p/n: 25713063 (this is the light sensor up by the windsheild)
4 x Duct temperature sensors P/N:12160947 (I bought these new for $9.19 each)
Inside cabin air temperature sensor(Ebay around $30)
Left temperature actuator motor P/N:15844096 (this is the same part as the recirculation and temp motor on all models)(local salvage yard with sun sensor for around $30)
Hvac box screws(I got these from older sunfires where you can reach up and remove them)These will be used to reassemble the blower case and mount the driver side temp motor
Lastly you will need the connectors for these items, the digital climate control has two smaller connectors.

As for the wiring you need either a dash harness from a salvage car same year, same options like premium sound and of course with dual climate.
---Or you can keep it simple by making your own adapter harness using factory connectors and pins. Thats the option I chose and it looks and works like factory.

For this dual climate conversion to work properly you need the 5 button DIC with an external temp sensor installed, this is so it knows the outside temp inorder to work properly. It goes wacky if you dont have this.

I did this converson on my 04, then it got wrecked by someone who rear ended it. I switched it back to single climate before the insurance people picked it up.

I then got an 06 that I have now and converted this to dual climate, So basically Ive did the job may as well say three times.

Last time it took me 8 hours, and this is having the harness already made and having done it previously. In my opinion this job is not for everyone as you basically gotta remove the dash right down to the body of the car and deal with the electrical. I had pinouts of every electrical connector in the car as well.

Heres a pic of mine installed.
The police scanner and Factory Nav are a conversion as well :)
Check backj in in a bit as im uploading a bunch of conversion photos to photobucket as I type this.
