This seems pretty biased against pontiac too. The aztek was a bad car, but they did have the 3.4 and awd so saying the exterior was the best feature isnt right. There are videos of soltices(modified) on youtube beating camaros, and if they wouldve had a v8 version of the sosltice it wouldve been more popular. The whole gxp thing i dont get either because they did the same thing in the impala and monte ss after 2006. But you dont see those cars on the list.

The hatred for the Aztek is amazing. While I certainly don't think it's attractive, and it's probably extremely mediocre in the other areas, is it really any worse than some more recent attrocities? The Nissan Cube and Juke are not exactly eye-pleasing (styling being subjective, of course). The Aztek's front end definitely needed some plastic surgery.....it appears to have a million grille openings......but if it were any other non-domestic brand, it would have been some kind of ground-breaking design.

I couldn't believe the Solstice made the list. If for nothing else than styling alone, it is a worthy car. They (auto journalists) hate it because of the top and subsequent lack of trunk space..... a small price to pay for a beautiful machine that is a two-seater anyway.

Yeah i couldnt believe that a few of those cars were on there either...i GXP being the main one. Whoever did that list was bias to american cars...GM being one of the main targets.

The aftermarket does....it's called a "Mallet",apparently.
I think a turbo V6 would have been better.

I saw that. But all the older toyotas rusted as bad as anything they listed on there, not to mention underpowered as well. At least the Echo has enough room in the backseat to get it on. Trust me, I know.

I still can't believe they said the Smart Car looked good. At least it was on the list, but it's ugly as hell! Nissan Murano is ugly as sin as well.

I don't see why 300 hp on FWD is necessarily bad. Sure, if you floor it in a turn, you're going to understeer like mad, but it just takes a knowledgeable driver to know what the car can and cannot do.

I don't see the current Maxima on the list. It has 290 hp, and is FWD. Apparently, 290 is OK, but 300 is unacceptable?

This list is pretty bad IMO. Some of those cars had a big impact on the automotive history or sold in good numbers and thus kept companies afloat. Biased indeed. Good way to stay off that list apparently, is build bland, boring, asian sedans.
Also find it ironic that the Aztec get's blamed for killing Pontiac. Did they forget about the G5 and G3?

I forgot that the Cutlass conv was on there. My dad had a 92 coupe (1st year of the revised front fascia) with the DOHC 3.4L. At the time, that car seemed very quick....200hp wasn't small potatoes then. But man, that engine was pretty problematic. It never wanted to start in cold weather, and it was so physically big that you could hardly do any simple maintenance or inspect things because it filled the engine bay almost completely.

I can't believe that that Cutlass convertible gets singled out, yet more recent and comparable vehicles, like the Solara and Sebring convertibles get a pass. I think a lot of cars on the list actually have some collectible potential.

Kinda off topic but here's a Photoshop I did of an Aztek back in like 2008(?) I don't think it looks TOO bad. What made me waste my time to Photoshop of an Aztek still beats me but here it is anyways lol.
