pics orngcomp???? and whats the advantages of a cai vs. a fwi and where could i get some actaully intake piping instead of pvc.

Well I think the advantages with the fender well are:

1. Completely outside of the engine bay where all the real heat is.

2. You can grab a lot of the cold air just nesting in there.

3. You can hear it at idle even from inside the car, you can take a few steps back and hear it.. Sounds so nice.

Plus if you take out that driver-side turn signal/fog light, you have a ram air set-up that no one can beat. Filter does get dirtier a lot faster with the light out though.

With cold air, you're just blocking off the filter and setting it in the factory air flow path which is also good, but the sound of the engine rumbling over powers the hissing of the intake. Personally, I believe that if you can find a good fender well set-up then it is well worth the work. If you don't like to work, Cold Air.

im lookin to make my own also..i have some pics from a thread on here but no measurments...best-intake-t11087.html its the black one for the 04+ i know it has 3-4"to3" adpt. but that is about it...thanks for any help you can give....
