I'll do that, Im a bit confused on my loan so I need to call Chase tomorrow to get everything cleared up. They approved me for my $20k loan but the papers say I have to find a car and then go back to them to approve it meets the 5 year old/70k mile maximum terms and then they issue a check to the sellers name and overnight it to me. Its going to be difficult to negotiate a deal when I have to say "I have to go back to my bank and get you the money in 48hrs" they're gonna think im full of shit. I'm going to have to find a way for my bank to be able to talk to the dealer for them to know I have the money.

As far as parts, sorry...Nothing is coming off the car, I just told them to take the car and I didn't want to deal with it. I wont ever see it again.

I'm pretty pissed cause since May I've spent $2,500 on Brakes, An Ac compressor, New tires, new wheel hubs, and an Hid Kit. What a waste....Guess you dont know this is going to happen but still, I nearly went broke trying to repair my ac compressor 2 months ago at a cost of $1,000. I still owe on my cc for that. Either way Im going to end up with a lower payment so it helps

The dealer can call your bank to verify that you're approved. How many miles are on the car and what year is it?

Ok. I understand.

I recently bought my 08 GP and I went the pre-approved route. There were a few stipulations like it couldn't be older than a certain year. There were no mileage limits but I was looking for less than 40K. I found what I was looking for at $11,999.00 and the dealer wouldn't take a deposit. If I wanted the car I had to buy it - NOW. So what they did was have me write a check from my personal bank account and we did the deal. The next day I went to my bank and got the loan money and went back to dealership and they gave me back my check. Made me nervous. Very nervous.

One of the advantages to being pre-approved is it lets you know what your budget is and how much you can get. Big advantage when you're trying to negotiate.

Most dealers like you to go thru them so they are sure they get the money and not let another buyer walk out and never come back. Talk about PRESSURE!

Good luck in your search. Caddys are niiice.

If the dealer said "If you want the car you have to buy it now." I would say kcuf off, and walk to the next dealership...

I tried that once. Didn't work. Never called back lol. They offered me 4500 for my GP in trade on a 08 Charger, I told them I wanted 6k and left.. they never called back. :(

It's harder with a trade...
If you take a car off their lot without putting one one they save alot of money!
They were asking 3k more for my car than what I paid...
It took them 2 weeks and a day to call me back, tried the hard sell again
I told them they are wasting my time, started to walk out
Next thing you know, they could sell it for the price I was asking

I didn't have a trade, my car was stolen & totaled
